Its in batter consistency.Thicker than idli or dosa batter). You can use a butter papper and put a tsp of oil and spread it on. Then take a handful of this batter and spread it like round shape. Wet your hand with water on little oil and pat it with fingers. It comes as thin as you like. Then take the rotti with the butter paper on the hot tava and slowly remove the butter paper.
