Cornflakes Laddu

Corn Flakes Laddu ;
I have used Kelogs Corn flakes to prepare these Laddu/ Laadu/ Unde.
Corn flakes are already roasted but still you need to roast them again.
They are rich in carbs, loaded with minerals and vitamins. 

These Corn Flakes Laddu is  prepared using figs, Almonds, Cashews, Raisins, dry coconut and jaggery. So eating an Laddu fills your stomach. You can also use this for kids snack box. Take them to picnic or travel. It helps in many ways by giving good energy. 



Lets seee how to prepare these Corn Flakes Laddu.
Things Needed:
Corn flakes : 10 glasses or 2 big bowls.
Jaggery : 1 1/2 cup.
Almonds : 1 Cup
Cashews & Raisins : 1/2 cup.
Figs . 10 to 12.
Cardamom : 4 to 5 .
Dry coconut :  1/2 

Method : 
Remove seeds from cardamom
Dry dry coconut into small pieces.
Dry roast corn flakes for 5 minutes on low flame.
Dry roast cut dry coconut, Almonds and figs and cardamom seeds.
Cut figs into small.
Dry grind dry roasted almonds, cut figs, dry coconut and cardamom.
Shift it to a bowl.
Dry grind corn flakes and mix with almond mix.
Keep a pan on fire and add jaggery and 1/4 cup of water.
Melt it and sieve jaggery liquid.
Keep the sieved jaggery in a pan and stir on low flame. Let it get 1 string consistency.
Add this to corn flakes & almond mix and mix it well.
Fry cashews and raisings in 2 to 3 tbs of ghee and add this to Corn flakes almond mix.
Add another 2 to 3 tbs of ghee and mix everything together nicely and prepare Laddu.
Yummy Laddu is ready to serve or store.
If you are storing keep them to cool nicely and store it.


Note : 
Dry fry corn flakes and nuts well. It should be crunchy. Do not touch them in wet hand. Adding more or less ghee is optional. You can also add other nuts of your choice. 
Do not powder cashews. It is nice to munch them while eating laddu.
