Simply simple Poha/ ಸಿಂಪಲ್ ಅವಲಕ್ಕಿ

Simple Poha is good for breakfast or dinner. Its one of the quick and easy breakfast. 



Wash medium size Poha and drain all the water. 250. Grams Poha/Avalakki
Season with any cooking oil.
3 TBS cooking oil.
1 Tsp mustard seeds.
1/2 tTsp cumin seeds
2 to 3 washed and slit green chilly.
Handful curry leaves.
Cashew nuts as you like ...I had 10 full cashews cut into pieces.
Washed and slit green chilly.
Add one by one to hot oil. Let the mustard seeds splutter.


Add washed Poha. Mix it once and add salt required and little turmeric.

Mix it well adn sprinkle some water and cook on low flame. Add grated fresh coconut and mix it again, Shift it to a serving bowl.

Ready to enjoy  Simply simple Poha.


Enjoy with your favourite chutney or curd.
