Banana -Wheat -Curd Poori

Ready to Serve Hot Banana Wheat  Curd Poori and Khara Poori

Banana Wheat Curd Poori is a fried dish. We can have this banana wheat curd poori for breakfast, as snack or for dinner too. Ripe banans are smashed with curd and sugar and mixed it well. Wheat flour is mixed with this banana mixture and prepared the dough. It is one of the quick dish you can prepare when you have surprise visitor. ( suddenly arriving guests).
Anyways it is a try. I used wheat flour instead of maida and a spoon of rice flour to give the crispy layer.
Lets get into the recipe now.

Things Needed :

Ripe Bananas : 2 (Small ones)
Sugar : 2 to 3 Table spoons
Curd : 2 Table spoons
Wheat flour : 2 to 3 Table spoons.
Rice flour : 1 Table spoon
Salt : to taste
Ghee : 1 Table spoon
Oil :To fry

Method :

1. Mix sugar, banana, little salt and curd nicely they get soft and sugar mixes well with curd.
2. Now add wheat flour, rice flour and ghee. Mix it well and prepare thick dough.
3.Divide the dough into small balls.
4. Keep oil on the fire for frying.
5. Roll the small size of ball into small circle.(poori)
6. Fry them in hot oil on both sides.
7. Put it on a kitchen tissue. Let it absorb the extra oil.
8. Serve Hot Banana Poori with the side dish you prepared.

Note :

Do not use lot of ghee while mixing. I table spoon is more than enough. Do not add much curd too. It may take more flour. Adding more or less sugar is optional. Do not add any water. These pooris will stay for two days without fungus. Hot pooris are best to enjoy. Any type of dal and coconut chutney is a good combination to enjoy these pooris.
Time : 30 Minutes
Serves : 3 to 4.
