Things needed :
Rice powder: 2 cups.
Urd Dal : 1 cup
Jeera : 1 tea spoon
Sesame seeds( Till seeds) : 1 tea spoon
RedChilly powder : 1 tea spoon
Oil : To fry
Salt : to taste
Butter : 1 table spoon
Method:
Wash urd dal and cook until it is soft. ( Can use pressure cooker to cook dal) Let it cool.
Mix cooked dal , rice powder , butter , salt and Sesame seeds or jeera seeds. Kneed well to make a dough ( chapati consistency ) .
Keep a pan and heat oil .Put some dough in chakkuli mould and make cakkulies. Fry cakkulis on medium flame. Fry till golden colour and remove from oil. Repeat the same . At time you can fry 5 to 6 chakkulis.
25 to 30 Chakkulies ( Murku can be made).
