Mangolore baje ( Goli Baje)

Goli baje is a snack..eaten during tea time.

  • Maida : 1 cup.
  • Yogurt. 1/2 cup.
  • Green chillies..2
  • Coriander leaves. 3 to 4 sticks.
  • Salt : accroding to taste
  • sugar : 1 teaspoon.
  • Soda bicorbonate. a pinch
  • oil . to fry
Mix curd ,salt ,sugar and maida keep it for 10 to 15 minutes.
Cut chillies and coriander leaves and add to the mixture.
Keep oil in a frying pan. Heat oil . Mix a pinch of cooking soda to the mixture only when you are about fry . Take a handful of dough and leave in the hot oil as small balls . Fry themuntil golden brown. Goli bajes are ready to eat.
Serve them with tomato sauce or coconut chutney.

Maida is kind of flour and its used for making bread. If you use self raising flour in sted of
maida do not add cooking soda.( Soda bicorbonate )
